McKay Freelance Walks the Walk

As alumni of the College of Charleston, McKay Freelance has a special appreciation for the upper King St. area and its continuous transformation. Last night at the Upper King Design District's Fall Design Walk, the transformation was all the more obvious. Emerging and existing shops kept their doors open a few hours late to let patrons browse their selection or services with complimentary beverages and tasty hors d'oeuvres.

Some of our favorites: Sarah Maxwell and her unique fabrics and custom designs, the witty sayings from mac & murphy's stationery, the new found knowledge of "sugaring" from Sweet 185 and best of all, Seeking Indigo's East meets West hot spot which combines a custom clothing boutique and wellness center.

Locals Get a 'Taste' of Charleston Delivers

Last Sunday, McKay Freelance represented Charleston Delivers at Boone Hall Plantation's Taste of Charleston. Thousands of locals from around the Lowcountry came out in celebration of their coveted local cuisine and nationally renowned chefs. As "Friends of the Taste", what we found is that Charleston LOVES the idea of a delivery service that offers a timely, convenient solution to their lunch and dinner dilemmas. There was no better forum to educate the community about the services of Charleston Delivers and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

As Charleston Delivers expands, more Mt. Pleasant, James Island and West Ashley restaurants will be added to best serve all of our customers. Please continue to check the website for new restaurants, specials and complete list of services.

If you can order it, we can deliver it!
