McKay Announces Support of Charleston Waterkeeper

McKay Freelance is proud to announce our support of local, environmental non-profit organization, Charleston Waterkeeper, promoting community involvement in the public fight to protect clean water. Charleston Waterkeeper, a community watchdog organization that monitors the environmental integrity of navigable waterways and takes action against violators, relies on the support of the public to protect their right to the commons. Water transcends social boundaries - from the fish we eat, to the air we breathe, all people have the common right to clean water and we are obliged by law (1899 U.S. Refuse Act and 1972 EPA Clean Water ACT) to preserve that fundamental right to clean water and to prevent privatization.
