How? Come celebrate the launch of the new Charleston Scene, formally known as Preview, a full-color, weekly newspaper chock-full of Charleston goodness!

What? Fashion is Art II - The Official Charleston Fashion Week Kick-Off

How? $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit Center for Women and Lowcountry AIDS Services.

What? Party for the Parks Amusement on the Avenue

How? Buy tickets in advance for $55; or at the door for $75. Nosh on delicious food from Oak Steakhouse, Muse Restaurant and Wine Bar, The Bagel Shop, Queen Street Grocery, Closed for Business and La Fourchette. Jam to tunes from Flatt City bluegrass band, The Plainfield Project and DJ Trailmix while watching a variety of street performers. Oh, and did we mention this is all for a good cause...Charleston's Parks!
